We booked your Learn to Ski lesson and it was fantastic. Everyone on property was kind and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable to learn how to ski. Huge shootout to Mark, our instructor, who made the process simple, had so much patience and was super kind and knowledgeable. By the end of the 2 hour lesson we were going down the beginners maintain! Coming from Florida not even knowing how to walk on the snow, that felt incredible! We will definitely continue to ski and hopefully can come back and say hi to Mark! Thank you again Mark and team for an amazing experience!

Stayed here Sunday into Monday and was very happy with our experience. Traveled with three tween aged kids. Our stay included lift tickets on check in day plus the following day, plus 40% discount on rentals for the kids(a tremendous value). We got the mountain view suite and were placed on the ground level floor. Initially I was disappointed to not have a better view but ultimately, being on the ground floor, you really had that ability to ski right up to your room almost. Also very easy access to pools and hot tubs without having to take stairs or elevators. Only gripe with the room was that the sliding door was largely inoperable. Happy hour at Trails End Cafe was a great dinner option with the family. Perfect mountain for younger kids just learning to ski and ride.

We had our intimate wedding here. We used the fireside suite meeting room for our ceremony and dinner. The photos we took outside were enhanced by the beautiful scenery of the property. The planner that took care of us, Kristy, was helpful and did so well decorating the room for me. Our dinner and dessert were phenomenal. My husband and I stayed in the mountain view bridal suite for two nights after our wedding. It was a lovely and quiet stay. We plan on going there again for our anniversary!

This ski resort was flawless from start to finish. Instruction was excellent, with knowledgeable, supportive instructors who made learning easy and enjoyable for my 13 year old son. The slopes were beautifully maintained, and there were plenty of activities beyond skiing to keep the weekend interesting. Food was consistently high quality, and the service throughout the resort was friendly, professional, and efficient. Facilities were clean, and well thought out, making everything feel smooth and stress-free. An outstanding experience in every way—I wouldn’t change a thing.

When I tell you having our wedding at Bear Creek was the best decision, I mean it! I would choose this venue over and over again. Our wedding coordinator, Aimee, was a life saver through the entire process and especially on the day of. Every staff member was helpful and went out of their way to help us and our guests. The food was AMAZING. People are still talking about it months later (people want to go back there for the food). We had our rehearsal and dinner there the night before, as well. Everything was handled. All of our decor was put out by them. We really didn’t have to worry about anything which was exactly what we wanted. I could go on and on. Truly, this was the best choice we made throughout this process. A huge shoutout to Aimee and Travis (coordinators who took care of EVERYTHING), Chris (our bartender), Laura (helped with our room block) and every single staff member (including the people who helped box up our extra entrees to take home and gave us a bin of ice!).

We were as Bear Creek Mountain Resort over Christmas and had a great time! Staff were welcoming and offered us warm cookies. There were 2 lift tickets included in the package which was a great value. We stayed at the family suite with kitchen and we cooked light meal and breakfast. Mountain View from terrace was amazing! It was so convenient to go out to ski right in the backyard!! And come back to the room to take a break and go out again. There are plenty of beginner slopes but has more advanced slopes too. All the family had a great time! We did not dine at the restaurant nor used the pool but throughly enjoyed skiing and snow tubing. The resort was cozy and charming. If you are coming with family for skiing (great for beginners), I highly recommend this resort!

This is a review of the ski area only. Generally, a great place and very nice people. I was just disappointed how they did a little bit of bait and switch on the pricing for the night ticket. The passes are re-loadable. If you bring the old pasd you save $5. Until you arrive and find out you misunderstood. When I brought up my concern about having to pay for an additional pass even though I already had one from last year, I felt as that my concern could have been handled better. Essentially I was told by the manager "It's a great deal". I just dont like surprise extra charges. Also they need an extra staff person at each lift to maximize the capacity of the lifts. Too often I saw just 1 or 2 persons boarding a 4 person lift while 100 people waited in line. Otherwise a great spot. Good snow conditions and generally very nice people.

Review only for ski area: Staff are very kind. We went there on week days, so the lines were empty. You can occupy the whole area within about 100 meters. there’s nice and long carpet for beginners. KODIAK line is excellent for intermediate snowboarder, wide and straight.
